Sculptra®

Sculptra is a biostimulator, meaning it helps to accelerate your body's production of collagen and elastin. Think of it like fertilizer for your skin! Two treatments are recommended spaced 6 weeks apart. Generally, Sculptra works well in those aged 40+ who are experiencing volume loss, fine lines, wrinkles or crepey skin of the face and neck. A typical treatment is 1-4 vials. Results onset over the course of several months and last up to 2 years.

How do I prep for my appointment?

Avoid blood-thinning medications or supplements (like aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, or vitamin E) 48 hours before your appointment to reduce bruising.
Arrive well-hydrated and with a clean face.
Discuss any medical conditions, allergies, or prior treatments with your provider.

Does it hurt?

Most clients experience mild discomfort during injections. We use a medical-grade numbing cream or local anesthetic to ensure a comfortable experience.

Is there downtime?

Mild swelling, redness, or bruising may occur at the injection site but usually resolves within a few days.
Most clients return to work and normal activities immediately.

When will I see results?

Radiesse: Some results are visible immediately due to volume restoration, with continued improvement over 4-6 weeks as collagen is stimulated.
Sculptra: Results appear gradually over 2-3 months as collagen production increases. Multiple sessions are often required for optimal results.

How many treatments will I need?

Radiesse: Typically 1-2 sessions depending on the area and desired results.
Sculptra: Usually 2-4 sessions spaced about 4-6 weeks apart. Your provider will create a personalized plan.

Do I need to maintain treatments?

Yes, both Radiesse and Sculptra are long-lasting but not permanent. Maintenance treatments every 12-24 months (Radiesse) or yearly touch-ups (Sculptra) are recommended to sustain results.

Are there any side effects?
