Aesthetica Skin & Beauty Bar is a modern, client-centered medical spa dedicated to exceptional results, innovative treatments, and a welcoming experience.

Our providers are passionate about education, safety, and personalized treatment plans that help clients feel confident in their skin. We’re expanding our team and seeking an Aesthetic Injector who is professional, motivated, and aligned with delivering outstanding client care and who desires schedule flexibiity, balance and quality of life.

 

Position Overview

The Aesthetic Injector provides safe and effective cosmetic treatments, client education, and service excellence. This role combines medical expertise with artistry, ensuring every client receives results-driven, confidence-enhancing care.

 

We welcome candidates with existing aesthetic experience or previous training. We are open to considering highly coachable providers eager to transition into the medical aesthetics field.

 

Responsibilities

Client Care & Treatments

  • Perform medical aesthetic services based on training and credentialing

  • Conduct consultations and create customized treatment plans

  • Provide pre- and post-care guidance and follow-up

  • Maintain accurate charting and documentation

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, sanitation, and medical safety standards

Professionalism & Guest Experience

  • Deliver a confident, warm, personalized client experience

  • Communicate treatment expectations clearly and honestly

  • Identify contraindications and practice ethical decision-making

​

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain clinical space cleanliness and organization

  • Support equipment care and adherence to protocols

  • Attend team meetings and ongoing education sessions

​

Retail + Treatment Planning

  • Educate clients on skincare products and treatment plans

  • Support company growth through product recommendations and client retention

 

Social Media & Personal Branding Commitment

At Aesthetica, our providers play a key role in building community trust and brand visibility. This includes:

  • Participating in content creation (photo/video, before + afters, educational content)

  • Maintaining a professional social media presence that reflects your expertise

  • Promoting treatments, skin health tips, and your professional journey

  • Comfort with being on camera or creating educational content

  • Collaborating with marketing campaigns, event promotions, and client education

We provide support, training, and brand guidelines to ensure your content is authentic, compliant, and empowering.

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license in Idaho (or higher credential)

  • Strong client communication skills and bedside manner

  • Detail-oriented with a safety-first mindset

  • Positive, collaborative team player with warm, welcoming personality

  • An eye for aesthetics, facial assessment and beauty recommendations

  • An ambition to learn and grow in the aesthetic field and work as a team to build our brand

  • Willingness to participate in brand and marketing initiatives

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with injectables, lasers, or advanced skincare

  • Background in aesthetics, dermatology, or plastic surgery

  • Product knowledge and retail sales comfort

  • Understanding of content creation and digital engagement

Schedule + Compensation

  • Competitive pay (Starting at $35-$38/hour DOE)

Space: Shared lash lounge suite with two established artists
Rent: $500 per month

This is a private lash bed rental opportunity within our Lash Lounge, which is ideal for a lash professional seeking independence while enjoying the energy and reputation of a premium med spa environment.

You’ll have full creative control over your schedule, services, and pricing while benefiting from Aesthetica’s visibility, traffic, and elevated brand experience.

Requirements

  • Valid Idaho cosmetology or esthetics license (or applicable license/credentialing)

  • In addition, must be licensed in Idaho or have a compact license valid in Idaho to perform hands-on injections.

Intro to Injectables

These are beginner's level courses aimed at training medical providers in entry level aesthetic knowledge or for new injectors hoping to elevate their skill set. Each class can be taken individually or together. When both Introductory courses are taken, the attendees will receive 10% off the total price. Both courses are inclusive of in-depth didactic and theoretical training, as well as, an instructor demonstration and hands-on injecting with models.

Both courses cover pertinent anatomy, physiology, assessment, indications and contraindications, and business basics.

Intro to Tox

Our Intro to Tox course will specifically cover three of the most commonly used neuromodulators: Botox, Dysport, and Daxxify. Areas taught will include frown lines, forehead, crow's feet, bunny lines, lip flip, gummy smile, downturned mouth, masseters, and dimpled chin.

Intro to Filler

Our Intro to Filler course will cover various types/brands of filler, filler rheology, injection techniques, and complication protocol. Areas taught will include cheeks, nasolabial folds, marionettes, chin, and lips.

Shadow Opportunites - Half & Full Day Options

If you're curious about the aesthetic industry but not sure you're ready for an injectables course, or just want more experience with the operations of a med spa, come spend a day with Aesthetic Nurse and Owner - Sonja Appoldt RN, BSN. The half day shadow opportunity will provide exposure to several popular med spa services with lunch included and 30 minutes to answer questions. The full day shadow opportunity will provide an array of appointment types, lunch, and two 30 minute opportunities to have all your questions answered as well as learning about the med spa business. This is the perfect way to get a glimpse into the life of an Aesthetic Nurse and med spa owner!

About The Trainer

Sonja Appoldt RN, BSN

Sonja has spent the last 10 years in various positions within the aesthetics industry and is insanely passionate about helping clients feel like the most beautiful version of themselves. She has a unique and well-rounded background as both a licensed esthetician and a registered nurse which gives her the ability to look at the big picture and provide comprehensive care plans for her patients. Her background in business administration, hospitality, skin care and the plastic surgery specialty have allowed her to create an innovative and personalized med spa experience. In her 4+ years of med spa ownership she has found a passion for helping others enter and find success in the industry. She believes in community over competition and loves elevating the medical aesthetics specialty as a whole.
