Collagen Induction Therapy

Microneedling is a collagen induction therapy originally designed to treat acne scars. Other benefits were quickly realized making this treatment beneficial for addressing fine lines/wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, pore size, scars, stretch marks, and overall skin quality. At Aesthetica, we use only the best, which is why we've partnered with SkinPen, the first FDA approved microneedling device. It uses a 12-needle attachment to create microscopic channels in the skin. This micro-injury stimulates the body's own healing response thereby stimulating the hyperproduction of collagen and elastin. Prescription strength topical numbing is applied prior to treatment to ensure a comfortable service. After the service, the treated area will appear as if you have a mild sunburn, with redness typically resolving in 24 hours.
